The voice of Ayako Kawasumi

Ayako Kawasumi （川澄 綾子 Kawasumi Ayako) is possibly most famed for her role as the voice actress of Saber, who…well…If you managed to find your way over here you would know who she is. She is also referred to as Ayasumi (for me, I call her Ayako-sama), the Chinese fanbase calls her 川澄姐 （Kawasumi-nee).

Being a seasoned seiyu Ayako-sama has had many roles throughout her career (maybe not as much as…say…Kikuko Inoue, but they are really quite old). However, the voice she used for Saber is actually pretty far off from the kind of characters she usually voiced. As luck would have it, I’ve found a video composed of many roles that Ayako-sama played in.

One Year Older

Time sure passes quickly doesn’t it? On this very day (I really picked an odd day, June 30th) of 2008, I’ve made my account on WordPress and picked up blogging.

Things were also a bit out of order these days. I was planning to write this post earlier, but a friend of mine from the lab invited me to have dinner with his friends.

Not living at home doesn’t stop me from browsing sites and making my friend pick up the stuff I buy and paying the customs for me. Yeah…^^;

Backlogged Anime

As the school year approaches to an end I find myself staring once again at my CD wallet, which contains my anime collection which…I originally intended to watch. To say the least I managed to see a few series, and that’s about it. Kind of funny how nothing works out as planned.

1/6 Saber Lily Resin Kit from Hobby Complex

I guess during times like this, nothing makes you feel better than looking at your favourite anime girl.

I decided to check out the E2046 website, and you can pretty much imagine that this caught my eye right away

She is a resin kit, meaning the outcome will ultimately depend on the workmanship of the maker. I understand the complexity of resin kits and how they are different from gundam kits, but since she’s Saber, I’ll know that I’d put extra effort when I’m building this kit. She wasn’t available for pre-orders though, at least not until I placed her on my wishlist. I decided to pre-order her, since I’m going to be attempting resin kits this summer (on top of other things) and I’d eventually order her anyway.

TYPE-MOON Unlimited Calendar 2009

I really hate to write up another fillet type sort of post, since translating the next scene for F/HA is taking up more time than I initially thought (that and I’ve been doing a bit of job hunting on the side).

Anyway, here is another image collection that I got my hands on a while back. Once again, someone on SumiSora uploaded them and I obtained them there. This is the Type-Moon Unlimited Calendar for 2009, includes all of Fate Project, Project Tsukihime, Kara no Kyokai, and Canaan (a new anime that came out this year, conceptualized by Type-Moon co-founders Kinoko Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi, Maaya Sakamoto voices one of the main characters. Has anyone seen it?).

Fate/Tiger Colosseum Upper Manual Scans

I actually got my hands on these stuff a few months ago but for some unknown reason I never posted them. But I really should share them before they get stale ^^;

These are scans from Capcom/Type-Moon’s Fate/Tiger Colosseum Upper, which I assume is the sequal to Fate/Tigger Colosseum (lower?). The game was released last year in August in Japan. Note these are not mine, credit goes to someone on Sumisora forums.

For those who don’t know, Fate/Tiger Colosseum is a fighting game, it includes almost all characters (excluding Avenger) in Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and they have their own individual routes and…you go around completing objectives, either last man standing, holding the Tiger Ball for the longest or beating each other up in survival (In Berserker’s route, Berserker loses Mad Enhancement and actually talks XD).
