Alter has released info on yet more new figures aimed at draining your wallet in the year to come (2010). Now presenting the latest addition of PVC figures to the Nanoha StrikerS.
2009 is either a very good or a very bad year for Saber or Nanoha fans (double that if you fall under both categories). Soon after the release of figma Vita is the release of figma Nanoha from the first Nanoha movie (thank you figma blog)
Figma blog has updated once again, and the next figma to be released will be the hot-headed Vita from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS (because I don’t think Zerstörungform was used in A’s).
Vita is also the only loli in the show now (other than Vivio) seeing as everyone else grew up.
Yesterday, I atteneded the second Pandatr0nics party. As most of you know, my camera’s battery charger is dead and I sent it to the NY Nikon branch for replacement. Therefore, I took no pictures during the event.
On a second note, Rin just came back from Japan recently, and he was also at the event. This means, I managed to pick up the stuff he bought for me during his trip!
Well, it isn’t the first time where game producers have tried to boost their sales by coupling limited edition figures with their games (Fate/Unlimited Codes and that Haruhi Wii game to name a few), and it seems to have worked pretty well so far. Now, seeing as we are still in global recession, companies are really resorting to devious methods to milk our wallets. Now, presenting Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A’s Portable – The Battle of Aces, for the Play Station Portable (stating the obvious really).
Ultimately though not a whole lot of people actually cares about the game, it’s all about the figure that comes with the game. Bundled with this game is a figma of Takamachi Nanoha (Loli) and Yuuno in ferret form.
So this is pretty much what happened. I managed to finish watching Nanoha StrikerS (Graf Eisen has my vote for the most awesome weapon ever). Feeling like a part of me died inside (happens every time I finish a series) and trying to find things to do, I decided to check out Magical Battle Arena and give it a test run. I’m well aware that the game has been out for a year, but since I just finished watching Nanoha, that’s enough of a justification.
So my supposedly plan for cutting back on figure spending have thus been thrown out of the window the instant I saw some prototype figures in WonFes that were on display.
The figures featured in my article are only the ones I want. You can view the rest here.
Well it’s not so often that I pour my heart out over an anime like this. Fate/Stay Night was one of them, though at that time I’ve yet to start blogging nor have I some how seemingly out of the blue learned to write opinion pieces like these.
Long story short, it’s a great anime, great enough that I’ve thought of enough stuff to write a decent article about it. I tried to keep spoilers down to a minimum, but read at your own discretion.
Also, keep in mind I’ve not finished StrikerS yet, all opinions are directed to Nanoha and Nanoha A’s.
EDIT: Wow, in a hurry I forgot to add a title before I stepped out of the house
First off, I’d like to say that the harbinger of the news is Yuuichi-kun. So actual credit should go to him. Please do drop by his blog and check it out, it’d at least make me feel better. So anyway, he posted the link to figma blog, which has just been uploaded with the latest pictures of the figma Signum, intended to be released at the end of this month (July 29th, almost literally the end).
