Yours Truely on AnimeBlips

Just slightly over a week ago Robyn Lass of AnimeBlips shot me an email, telling me that he wants to interview me for the featured blog of the week on AnimeBlips. Now, between line integrals and SP3 carbons this certainly is a more interesting turn of event in my current life (and at the  moment [...]

Move-In II

Due to some last minute packing, shopping and gathering in the previous few days (as well as lacking stuff to write about in general), I have been somewhat absent. Well, here’s the first bit of something interesting in the rather dry last week or so. Now, as most of you may know, summer is over [...]

FanExpo 2009 Report: Day 2

Enclosed is the field report on the second day of FanExpo.
Also, even though FanExpo is a three day event, due to various elements, I did not attend the third and final day.

FanExpo 2009 Report: Day 1

For those who don’t know, FanExpo is actually more of a comic book and sci-fi convention than an anime convention. However, seeing as popularity of the east Asian pop-culture is spreading, anime now has a distinct place in this convention.

The convention spans over a period of three days, like the CNE it marks the end [...]

Otaku’s Journey to No-man’s Land

What I’m referring to here is the encounter of the female gender, seeing as most “otakus” are guys (not to be sexist here, but we’re the ones that seem to have the most problems). Also, I’m not saying that all otaku are single, since I know there’s quite a few out there who are married.

The [...]

Pandatr0nics Party

This has been in the talks for quite some time now (38 comments on the article on DannyChoo if I recall correctly), and it finally happened.

Pictures are randomly pulled from either mine, Robostrike’s or Pandatr0nic’s collection, because my digital camera feels like popping flashes all the time (should have brought my DLSR >.<)

GNdynames’s Room

Given the fact we got the OTACOOL contest going on, I thought I might as well join in for some fun. Well, with that came a bunch of pictures of my room. So I thought I might as well put them together into a post. My next figure will be the Figma Signum, which won’t [...]

The voice of Ayako Kawasumi

Ayako Kawasumi (川澄 綾子 Kawasumi Ayako) is possibly most famed for her role as the voice actress of Saber, who…well…If you managed to find your way over here you would know who she is. She is also referred to as Ayasumi (for me, I call her Ayako-sama), the Chinese fanbase calls her 川澄姐 (Kawasumi-nee).

eBay Impulse

Yeah, this would be the second time I actually participated in an auction on eBay. I have just won the item, so it won’t be arriving for a while. I just couldn’t hold off my excitement so I just had to make this announcement.
Just to build the suspense, I will do my usual pre-material ramble [...]

One Year Older

Time sure passes quickly doesn’t it? On this very day (I really picked an odd day, June 30th) of 2008, I’ve made my account on WordPress and picked up blogging.

Things were also a bit out of order these days. I was planning to write this post earlier, but a friend of mine from the lab [...]
