I used to be a big Ragnarok Online fan back in grade 8 (that would be…seven years ago, holy crap!). A while back during the summer WonFes, this nendoroid was on display and it caught my attention instantly. Now, Mika-tan has released more pictures of the female (there are male equivalents for…dudes) Arch Bishop on her blog!
For those who have never played the game, your characters reflect your gender. That is, on account creation, they will ask you for your gender, and the gender you pick (which is SUPPOSED to be your real gender) will be the gender of all the characters in that account.
I used to play on a low rate private server, back in the days when there wasn’t so many and Aegis served as the core for the server. I used to play on Daydreamers RO, which closed down ages ago. I had a level 99 Grand Cross crusader, a lvl 97 ME priest(ess), and various other characters in the 70s. I always had horrendous luck with items and ended up buying most of my gear such as Golden Thief Bug card and Angeling card (the owner stuffed it in a +4 mantle I think, definitely one of the more average armor, the card was necessary), GTB card makes the user immune to all magic at the cost of doubling mana cost for all skills, while Angeling card changes the user’s element to holy (which was necessary for GC build crusaders because the skill has a 1/3 backlash damage, I think 2/3 of it are holy because you definitely don’t negate all the damage with Angeling armor), keep in mind those stats are what they were back in the day, I have no idea what they are now. That was also before transcendent classes (the round of classes before the arch bishop) came out.
A lovely Poring is also included. Oh Poring, you didn’t eat up anything useful and you’re not as fast as Thief Bugs, so I still like you.

It’s really odd how in Ragnarok, the class with the most fetish fuel is the Acolyte/Priestess/High Priestess (and now Arch Bishop) class. In that respect it’s not really surprising that Arch Bishop is getting released first. I really hope that they’d release the high priestess because I think that costume is much more moe. I also hope they release the Lord Knight.
No indications of pre-order or release date as of yet, stay tuned.

I remember I was recommended by someone from a simple 2D MMORPG game to play this game years ago, but I was turned off immediately because it’s not free (yes I am that cheap). Say, what’s that coming out of her right hand on the 3rd last pic?
Angeling card in a +4 Mantle?! Ughhhhh…
I didn’t like buying my gear, so I ended up spamming stuff like Thara Frogs for hours.
@radiant: I have no idea why they didn’t do something like this sooner.
@Q: It’s not like I paid for it either, there’s private servers everywhere though I joined when they were still “underground”. I imagine it’s some kind of blessing, but then I’m an entire class short so I can’t be sure. In the old days priest spells (that’s not magnus exorcism) are really not flashy.
@Reltair: It’s just these certain things that love to evade me. I found tons of other stuff like Phen, Raydric, Thara cards and rare crap like fin helms and dozens of slotted glasses. But it’s just these things like MVP cards (I’ve killed god knows how many Osiris, GTB, Angeling and Ghostring). Yeah, I ended up buying most of my junk. My Ghost armor was in something decent at least (I think it’s a formal shirt or soemthing, one less defense than mink coat), but yeah, angeling is in +4 mantle. GTB is in +10 guard though.
