As luck would have it I spotted the post the moment it came out. But yeah, we who call ourselves dedicated Saber fanboys (and girls) will now be put forever to shame thanks to this dude.
This guy has every single Saber PVC figure ever released (to my knowledge, that is every single one), along with duplicate of others which bear slightly different features depending on the accessory (the Solid Theater Saber Alter and Gift Saber).
Seeing as the game was released when I was 14, there was no way I could have collected to this guy’s number. With the dollfies now on the lines of several times my credit card limit, there’s no way I could afford them (and I wouldn’t do it for myself, if I had a girlfriend who’s close to me I might buy one for her to take care of). Plus, if I WERE able to actually have this collection, I’d be disowned instantly because my parents would reason that I’m well enough to live on my own (or at least pay my own tuition, housing and food…yeah, be on my own).
Looking at that guy’s collection, I counted 13 figures that are part of my collection. I could also name the makers of 80% of the figures (it’s the small ones that I can’t recognize). How many can you name?
The dude is also missing the 1:1 figure/doll by Papermoon.
Yea man when i stumbled upon this, I went WTAF. the dollfies are not cheap too. Also he has multiple figurines like one for the different faces the figures have @_@ omg

@Ex14: I believe Saber Alter DD is an exclusive. Dollfies aren’t THAT big a deal if it weren’t the fact that they’re very limited. I only see three duplicates (Gift, the Hyper Collection action figure one and Solid Theater Alter). Gift Saber was on sale for an absurd price last year (like 1900 yen?).
@Gunstray: I’m actually not so fond of the Solid Theater Alter, she’s scary =/
@GNdynames actauly the Saber DD Armour (original is an limited too. in fact if it isn’t, it’s price would makeit soo. @_@ the most ex DD doll i’ve seen so far.
Saber Alter wasn’t that expensive when she was originally released (tho subsequent prices have gone way up) but Saber is ridiculously expensive even when compared to other dollfies.
I saw this pic over at sankaku complex earlier and I’m pretty sure that it’s not quite an extensive collection, although it is rather impressive.

@GundamJehutyKai: As far as PVC figures go I think that’s every one of them. I know for a fact he has no resin kit in that collection (the resin kit Alter’s Saber Maid comes with a bucket, as well as the obvious lack of real face Gift’s Saber Lily).
I can definitely appreciate something like this. I mean, that’s a really big shelf, if you think of the scale. Look! Saber Lily is SO TINY in there! It’s organized well, so it looks great too!
I wish I had a shelf like that.
My parents would think I have an unhealthy obsession if I had that much Saber figures. I can name mostly the Alter, GSC, Max Factory ones because those are the ones I have. I’m very selective on quality and not too keen on some of those other manufacturers.
Great collection though, I’ll take it anytime if it’s offered to me. ^o^

As for the second part, I’m not really into dolls so it’d be kind of a waste if I bought one just for myself (hence more reasons for my GF to do so, if I had one).
