It is an interesting episode for the very least, even with the lack of action compared to the others.
Celestial Being guys, with nothing better to do, decides to drop off Marina at the Kataron base, which makes one wonder why Marina didn’t just go with Shirin at the end of the previous episode.
Lockon (Lyle) tells the team that the Feds have stationed these GN Particle Dispersion outpost things so interfere with communication. Of course, this also hides the location of the base in there. Clearly, the Feds were copying what the Iraqis did during the Gulf War, except the Iraqis sort of had a purpose in lighting up the oil wells.
Yeah…it seems that Ribbonz has several underlings at his disposal, but apparently he sends out some lunatic this time.
The Katarons, aside from planning military operations with their antique weaponary, also raise orphans. Setsuna questions them if they raise them to bolster their ranks, which Shirin denies. Setsuna is once again reminded how he was trained by Ali in the past.
If only Al-Qaeda members were like that…
“Did we just land on something?”
“Nope.”
So the idiots that act as lap dogs to the A-Laws report the approximate area of the Kataron spawn base and…they send guys over. I honestly don’t get the logic of using these automated guys for massacer so no one gets sinned, wtf.
Celestial Being arrives! Unfortunately the laws of physics actually some what applied to them this time, due to their un-aerodynamic design and large area of contact, they maximized the drag force caused to them which decreased their terminal velocity by a whole bunch.
One guy gets killed by Arios’s heat clamp and another gets vaporized by Seravee. Lockon cleans up the trash while Soma watches.
I wonder what’s to happen to him now.
Mean while:
So Lockon’s sacrifise was in vain after all…and once again Sunrise proved its worth.

He doesn’t die huh…
Keeps coming back even thought people thought he was dead…LOL…
I wonder, what will Saji do now…
what will happen to saji? how about locking him up in a cell like in the first few episodes to keep him out of trouble?
Despite the hardships he’s been through, Saji still hasn’t been a likeable character to me. Hopefully he will change for the good after all that mess that week.
