Strike E + IWSP Project

I started building it, and that’s…a start. I’m pretty much just going to blog about how very little has been accomplished.

My work area

The kit is different from the Zaku II. It has coloured parts and frame mixed together. I have no idea what I was thinking when I decided to paint while building. Anyway, I’ve completed the torso, although differently form what others have done:

  1. Unlike Danny or Marvin, I hand painted gloss lacquer instead of metallic spray paint.
  2. I used the Noir scheme instead of the original colour. I’m gonna call it Sven Cal Bayan custom.
  3. I’m too poor to get an air brush ;_;
  4. I don’t have Saber to pose with T.T

<- Fifth attempt at painting the eyes. I think it turned out all right.

I’m hoping to complete it by next week…hopefully…

    Noir striker should be mountable on this as well, right? I wonder if any of the original three striker packs can fit on the Strike E frame…

    All Striker Packs are compatible with all Strike models of the same grade.

    Ah, then I have just formed a master plan. I shall get the MG Rouge, Noir, Strike (Sword and Launcher) and IWSP. Strike fest – summer ‘09 is the goal. I’m going to be very poor.

    hey gndynames, incredible work on your handpainting. it evened out quite smoothly! I myself don’t have the skill to do that with a hand brush.
